My career goal is really more of a calling. Midwifery speaks to my soul. My belief that childbirth is almost always a normal event, my desire to help mothers achieve an empowering birth, coupled with my desire to see women treated with dignity and respect during their pregnancies and labors all fall in line with the traditional model of midwifery care.
