Online, Customized Childbirth Education classes!

Hello! How are you today? I hope you're enjoying your weekend time.

Yippee! I'm so excited to tell you about my new project! Im offering customized childbirth classes. Best of all, you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home! No getting in the car to drive across town!

You can select from a variety of options: home birth, unassisted birth, hospital birth, planned section, natural birth, medicated birth, a birth of multiples, a refresher course, a siblings course- whatever you need!

Your course will cover:
~an overview of pregnancy
~maintaing a healthy pregnancy
~the phases and stages of labor and birth
~coping with labor sensations
~post partum care
~infant care
~breastfeeding

When I teach a childbirth education class, it is generally 6 weeks and $150. This course will cover all the same topics and is just $50! As a bonus, you will have access to me via email for answering any specific questions or concerns! After purchase, I will email you for a list of your desired birth choices and which areas you'd like to focus most on. I will then email you a PDF of your custom course within three business days! Easy as that!

I look forward to helping you during this wonderful phase of your life!

I used Grammarly to grammar check this post because supporting a laboring mommy creates grammar brain farts!

Hello!

Do you like the post title?! Lol! It's true though, supporting a woman in labor, or facilitating the peeps learning, or managing the house, or running the blogs (bellaandsugar.blogspot.com, bellaandsugarlifeinlove.blogspot.com, and bellaandsugarlearnandgrow.blogspot.com) or just living a busy life can cause the dreaded brain fart. You know, when you can't recall that particular word or misspell the most obvious of words, the, "uhhhhhh...duhhhhh...pfffffttttttt....grammar brain fart" moments. They happen! And, if you're a student or blogger or writer, they can be as unseemly as an actual fart. Nobody wants to do that in polite company!

Now, www.grammarly.com can help us out. (Think of them as the grammar gas-x! Saving us from brain farts!) In all seriousness,  I think Grammarly is a great resource for any student, teacher, parent, business owner, or writer. While this post isn't "birth" related, my aim is to help you wherever I can, and I think Grammarly is a big help. They catch up to ten times more mistakes than most word processing programs.

Check them out!

:)

Whew! What a year!

Hello again! I apologize for my absence! I hope you missed me as much as I missed you. I promise, I have good reasons for being gone. Wanna hear? Of course you do!

Well, first...we moved a couple of hours to the west. Pros: MUCH closer to the beach (yippee!), closer to one set of the peeps grand parents, smaller town living, potential to help grow a more birth-aware community. Cons: smaller town living, less of a "birthy" community.

Second: we renovated (are renovating!) the house we bought. Carpet out, walls out, painting done, flooring in, plants in the ground, fencing up, garden in, exterior painted... Good thing that hubby is handy!

Third: we were growing a baby (ok, I was growing the baby!) and she was born in August. She's been a joy for the whole family.

Fourth: we (again, I!) am growing another, final baby...(s)he will arrive in September. Yes, the doula and childbirth educator knows that 2 year spacing is optimal. However, I also support families/women deciding what is best for themselves. For us/me, I am getting up there in years and didn't want to put off another baby for 2 years. So far, it's been good!

Fifth: I've developed a childbirth class that is available as an online, customized class!

Sixth: I spent sometime as a midwives assistant. It was very educational and I'm glad I did it. I wish that when a teen decides on a career, that shadowing/assisting in their chosen field was more of an option. It really gives you a feel for what the job is all about.

Whew! What have you been up to? :)
